Specifically because management is protected instead of employees, which creates a hostile and unhealthy work environment. The business is stagnant and product is no longer innovating. Plus, they are lost when it comes to market positioning. This is a company that was once a market leader but has now been overtaken by almost everyone else in the market. Majority of management is unqualified and working in inflated roles. They are unwilling to hear internal and external feedback to improve. The org structure is nonsensical, which causes tension and a lack of appropriate structure. Career development and mentoring is non-existent. The entire company is full of gossip. There is more drama than positive support for colleagues.
