I have been part of sixt since nearly 2 years now and have seen it grow as a company not just in terms of number of people, but also in terms of products that we own as a site, value we add to our parent company in Munich, quality of stuff we deliver from India. Started with a small plan in India but has grown to nearly 200 people in strength and has fantastic people joining us from technology companies and product companies. More than 50% of our employees are coming in as employee referrals which means our current employees like to be part of the organisation and want to bring in their friends along to work with them. This is big recognition to a growing organisation like ours. Most of the people have stayed with Sixt and are helping teams grow and learn our technology stack. Things have evolved in India with representations in products across all product lines including Rent, Ride and Share across web and Mobile. Not just the customer facing ones, we also have products built to improve our internal efficiency and add onto the revenues of Sixt. Sixt apart from world class work and technology exposure also provides lots of employee benefits at par with the industry like Food, Insurance, Play area, Great office, Employee health checkup, International relocation policies apart from competitive pay package and bonuses. Provides an opportunity to speak with our german counterparts daily and deliver high quality products. Employee feedback is taken across various forums and it is treated very seriously. Many positive changes have occurred based on the valuable feedback provided by our employees. Building an organisation and ensuring to reach at this level and aiming to take it further is no mean achievement. Having seen the company grow from a shared office to having a sprawling office like one currently, with the kind of quality talent having joined us and willing to join us, solving problems that are niche, definitely a place to be in and make a difference.

As a growing organisation, every one has its share of learning and Sixt has learnt since inception in Bangalore and is building an inclusive culture. Sixt is also maturing as a quality first organisation ensuring products with high quality are delivered. Having a learning mindset across all levels will surely ensure the organisation reaches heights and this is happening across teams.
