From the top down, this company is doing a great job of listening to its customers, appreciating its people and building toward another successful decade. Much of the typical growing pains with fast growth is handled well by the current leadership team and the future is as bullish as ever.

This company is the category creator and had to shrug off its initial growing pains. Things are moving quickly toward the innovation curve again, which means you need to be comfortable with change and getting things done while working across remote teams.

The people, the atmosphere, the all-hands-on-deck mentality, the open vacation policy, the open communication, the open floor plan, great leadership. There are a ton of pros for working at SmashFly - I would say for me, it has been the immense amount of learning and collaboration and growth that's happened in just under a year. You're part of a company that's taking off, and every team member is so pumped to be a part of it and do even more. Office parties are actually FUN. The "laidback" company culture is actually laidback. And I can't speak for everyone, but this is one of the first companies where I feel leadership is approachable, honest, open and extremely well-qualified. It's a place to build a career and industry expertise for sure.

It's also a pro, but what might be considered a con is the "startup vibe." Sometimes, there just isn't a lot of process. I personally like that and like being able to build that, but I could see that others might think there is a lack of protocol. Another potential con is that you have to be willing to dive into everything. Your job description is not the be-all, end-all. It's an all-hands-on-deck mentality, and you'll be doing a million things in a day. Again, for me personally that is a pro, but some might feel overwhelmed.
