Pluspunten

Growth - the company has found an area with deep tech where there is a big opportunity to change work experiences for working teams. Everyone is very focused on the business goals to move the company forward. Leadership shares info on how the products / our work is making an impact to customers, and what needs to improve as well. Product and engineering continually trying to improve those areas to benefit the customer experience. 2. Smart people - Soroco definitely has some of the best talent, I work with really smart people and diverse teams, it makes the environment collaborative where learning is a constant.

Minpunten

Collaborating across time zones can be challenging and leads to long days, but that is expected in a global company that is growing at this fast pace. This is pretty much expected everywhere in organizations globally. The work guidelines allow for comp. offs and flexibility to adjust to varied hours - needs prior discussion and planning with managers though.

Pluspunten

- Opportunity to work directly or around a really cool piece of technology. - The flagship product Scout has slowly but surely gained traction and is constantly rated as a leader in its space. - The company is still small enough that you can see your effort make direct contribution to the growth of the company, and it's acknowledged and appreciated by one and all. - Post Covid, the company has embraced the remote work culture. Although some people prefer to come to the office periodically, there is no expectation. - People at Soroco's are its biggest strength. You get to work with really smart and hardworking people. Almost everyone is really helpful, and goes over and above to help out and support colleagues.

Minpunten

- It's a start up and things move fast. There is a lot expected from everyone. It's not a typical 5 to 9 job. At times the work pressure can be immense, but then that's the cost of trying to build a software which is going to be installed on every computer in the world. - The expense approval needs a bunch of approvals. Although they are always approved in the end, it just involves too many reviews and approvals. The company could certainly do with a better and an updated expense policy.
