Pluspunten

- None really, couldn't find any. Maybe a fact I had quite a decent team of engineers but everything else made me look for a different job my second week there.

Minpunten

- The product people are changed like socks. This is caused by 2 founders doing a whole lot of micromanagement. - The products are hand picked by 1 owner who failed miserably a couple of times but never really admits he did something wrong. - They will try to burn you over when they fire you. - They might find a replacement for a new person - behind the curtains - and on the day of contract extension they will tell you they won't extend it for you. The next day you will see a replacement walking in. - As the CTO is a Middle developer at best, he makes weak decisions like hiring people he doesn't need. Obviously, sometimes they have to let go the same people after the temporary initial period of 3 months is over. Quite often unexpectedly for people they have just hired. - Frankly speaking, the CTO is unavailable in many ways, he does almost nothing. No prediction in terms of products being planned, no feasible resource planning, no contingence plans. He is rarely there. - You can't say truth in the company. If you say the metric doesn't mean anything or that something is bad - you will be fired upon, pressured to skew it to make it sound superb. - The second founder is an academic. He does a lot of weird stuff trying to do all things AI but none of it ever makes sense. None of it ever brings any value to the table. - There are no perks basically. They are very cheap. - Some members of the team were ridiculed for not willing to come from Gdansk to the office for a couple of hours every month cause it is against the spirit of the company. - The majority of senior people left the company which automatically promoted the juniors to become the Heads of everything. Some of them can't think well, neither execute. - The image created during the interview makes this healthy impression leaving you excited about the job. When the day comes you realize it is a giant bluff and some things were not exactly shared with you & some were sugar-coated to the max. Definitely happened to me. Watch out!

Motivated people who tried to do the best with what they have. Benefits were fine and on par with what the market had at the time. Culture was collaborative.

The salary, micromanagement, and technical constraints.
