SpaceQuest is a very small company and like one of the other reviewers noted, a lot is expected of every employee. Historically, the company was kept small and agile as the customers SpaceQuest serves were slow moving and had plateaued with regards to their spending. With the recent boom in cubesat technology and growing commercial space applications, the market has taken off and SpaceQuest is in the unique position of having a small agile team as well as two decades of experience to draw on. Furthermore they have been working through a bit of a pivot that could lead to some serious growth if they can execute on their plans. More personal pros include flexibility in your office hours, ubiquitous opportunities to learn new skills or aspects of the business, and the chance to work with some very experienced engineers.

Part of the pivot that SpaceQuest is going through includes a bit of culture shift. Such a shift always creates some stress. Give us some time and we'll catch up with the change. Additionally, management has usually been hesitant to share detailed business plans and strategies with the employees. With the recent pivot, more has been shared and involvement in the planning and strategic activities is strongly encouraged. Even more is needed however.
