Well known company. Hired really great people during Covid boom.

Minpunten

Many things changed when acquired by Cisco. Company became "too big" and too confusing. Having to have 2 internal email addresses. Having to use Webex since it's a Cisco product but then anything Splunk related was still tied to Zoom and Slack, etc.

Great compensation and time off. No micromanagement. Great product that's known for its strength and solid brand

Lack of definitive direction with Cisco and old and outdated game plan. Competitors have caught up and sometimes surpassed Splunk leaving Splunkers looking for a new strategy; very small territories, incompetent hires in some management roles
