Tech debt. Everywhere. Terrible corporate structure. Data quality is horrifying and the BI resourcing is laughable. This is a sales and services company, not a tech company. The culture is full of micro-management across the board. Things often get blown up much too late without thinking them through rather than trust the employees they put in charge, which leads to constant scrambling. Management uses constant pressure and “the eye of Sauron” as motivation techniques and assumes employees will do way more than their role entails. There is little to no celebration of big wins and the push is always what isn’t done with very little leash given and tons of pressure to work much much beyond a 40 hour work The culture is worse than any other companies I’ve seen and there is a rampant mis-trust in leadership and direction across R&D. That doesn’t mean C-Suite listens though and very little input is accepted from anyone who isn’t finance or the CEO’s pet.

Definitely some smart and dedicated co workers. Remote work was nice but they are trying to get rid of it too.

Company tries to be a FAANG without the pay or proper career structure. You are never doing good. Leadership is out to save themselves before anyone else. Quick to pass blame down. It was honestly a very toxic work environment. Wouldn’t be surprised if someone sues the company from how leaders speak to ICs. Poor manager training leads to unprepared managers. There was a first time manager in engineering who had almost everyone on his team quit, never had a single IC under them promoted and the manager still got a hefty promotion. Very clear that company’s priorities are not in the interests of employees.
