      Great fast paced place to work. There are opportunities at every turn to move into another position within the retail environment or corporate. Company is working towards the growth goals as well as adding new and exciting new lines of business. Owners are always looking at ways to make the work environment more productive and successful.

      Minpunten

      Training program needed to be revamped, but the company is now in the process of finalizing a training program to include one on one, online, in person and vendor trainings. Standardized training manuals for all locations.

      I have been working for Standard Optical for over 3 yrs and am very happy. My manager is amazing and have learned a lot from the 2 that I have had. Our DM is a great leader. My pay is really great. I am so glad I found such an awesome company to work for, we are all like family.

      Got charged with tax fraud during covid due to negligence of employer. Charges were dropped by providing documentation to courts showing Standard Optical's lack of instruction on applying for unemployment during covid, Standard Optical failing to distinguish pay between earned money and supplemental monies from the government, and that they were unable to provide the courts with proper breakdown of paychecks.
