It’s actually comical my SMSI “manager” was in charge or performance reviews and merit increases considering we spoke once a year, and he had no idea what I do on project or actual job function. Regardless of glowing reviews, my manager and SMSI would do everything possible to suppress my compensation while their bill rate continued to increase 7% each year.
