Pluspunten
Strava is a great company with a very solid mission and team behind it. I like the company culture that has been built here. For the first time in my career, it feels like these people are being genuine about all the things they say around creating a positive and inclusive culture. There are hiccups along the way, but overall, this is a really good place. I appreciate the transparency from leaders, especially from our CEO. He sets the tone for the rest of the company and I'm sure he has strong personal and professional values that have really made their way into the culture of the company he founded. There are many opportunities here to work on many areas, grow your role to have a larger scope, and have impact across the company.
Minpunten
The pace of development is slow. I wish they would work more on smaller features for the app that can be delivered on a faster cadence, on the side of the big initiatives. As a small company, it does not have many established processes in some areas. So if you find yourself in need of something in uncharted territory, it can take a very long time for it to get done. That can be frustrating.
