Shifting back to engineering roots. Correction has a been a painful, but necessary. Attrition over the last 12 months as old timers move on. New blood isn't bad just lots of ramp up time. It's an older brand, so sometimes deals with the baggage of "being an incumbent"

The benefits are good. Not many start ups do 401k matching, and SU does. You get lunch on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the lunches are really good. There is breakfast on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This isn't an amazing perk as many companies will serve you lunch every day, but the quality of the food is top notch. You get 4 weeks of vacation time, and this year (for the first time) the company is being giving the week between Christmas and New Years off. I don't know if this will continue though.

Minpunten

Communication and collaboration are. People, as well management, just make decisions and go with it. It results in bad decisions and bad code being pushed out that no one else knows about. This means that bugs and breaks that could have been found earlier (or avoided altogether), aren't found until later. The culture seems to be "every man for him/herself" and there isn't much teamwork.
