Pluspunten

1) The Surescripts community is wonderful – hard working, smart, supportive and positive people. There is a focus on employee engagement and nurturing a healthy, inclusive culture. 2) Leadership makes a genuine effort to be transparent and communicate out to the company on a regular basis. This has been especially helpful and appreciated during the pandemic. 3) Great benefits, competitive salary package, policy allows for 1-2 days of work from home after 4 months, really nice (new) office space. Having work/life balance is considered important. 4) Team management is open to feedback, makes an effort to engage in discussion and takes action as appropriate. This is a fast-moving company, so if you're the type of person who thrives in an environment where there is always something to learn, this would be a good fit for you. Learning as a new employee is less overwhelming when there are people around to help you navigate and succeed, and Surescripts has such people in abundance. This is proving to be one of the best places I've worked in my career.

Minpunten

Leadership within the Technology and Security organization operates entirely on fear, micromanagement, and self-preservation. Transparently reporting organizational risks or highlighting operational gaps is treated as a personal threat by management rather than a professional duty. The leadership style relies on moving goalposts, extreme gatekeeping (like exhausting daily interrogation-style briefing traps), and intentionally vague performance feedback so success can never actually be achieved. Top-performing professionals are systematically targeted, isolated, and managed out through fabricated performance issues to protect executive reputations. Furthermore, the HR department is completely toothless. Detailed, explicit exit interviews outlining this exact abusive behavior and naming impacted employees are met with empty empathy but zero corrective action. HR routinely chooses to protect toxic executives over maintaining basic workplace ethics. Since the corporate takeover, the culture has entirely shifted from psychological safety to compliance through fear, causing widespread burnout, anxiety, and a mad dash for the exits by top talent.
