Peers / team members were the fun... well, decent part of the job. The actual job itself was nothing special as was management's ability to set direction and support the team.
Minpunten
Too many managers and leads setting direction and expectations. A newer butts in seat policy and policing was getting old. Bust my chops if my work is poor or late, not if I got to the office 5 min late. Management plays favorites too much and it creates negative attitudes on the team. Our team had an analyst receive two promotions within 6 months while there was no recognition for the rest of the team and this persons scope of responsibility did not change too much.
