Minpunten

Teletech – Springfield, MO - Initial training received is how to do the job, how to avoid / meet matrixes and how to operate their cumbersome computer programs. Your job IS SALES .... dont let them tell you different. However - they give you very little training pertaining to the HP products they support (notebook computers) - All the job postings for the HP project at Teletech say NOTHING about making sales however, sales is your primary purpose to stay employed and meet one of a dozen matrixes implemented by the company. - During my interview I was asked if I had sales experience however nothing more was said about the importance of my sales until on the floor (after 6 weeks of training) - If you are going to work for this company get used to the acronym RPC (revenue per call) your job will eventually heavily depend on RPC. As of March 2012, by month’s end you must have $11.00 RPC or you get written up, 4 write ups means termination. - Another glorious acronym is DSAT (dissatisfied) which is a score 1-4 received from a customer who receives a survey after their tech support. If you start a service ticket you get the survey stats. Bad or good, meaning if another agent does poorly and basically make the customer mad, they they give a DSAT on the survey they receive …. Guess what .. YOU get the negative point. What happens when you get a DSAT? You get written up - As of March 2012 you must have at least 150 calls per month in order to get a payout (aka bonus). But you do not get a payout if the site doesn’t reach a certain RPC and YOU do not reach $11.00 RPC. - You like restrictions? No cell phones (can be immediate termination if seen with one on the floor) Internet security restrictions make it nearly impossible to do a simple search for tech issues that would assist customer. If you don’t make a sales offer, after the issue is resolved. You could be written up. - You like meeting endless amount of matrixes (as they call them) ther - Like jail food? Well you would probably be better off eating jail food. The food at the place is horrible. Monday’s Fazoli's comes in, otherwise the same crap is served day after day. - Attrition rate for the HP project at Springfield, MO Teletech as of November 2011 …. 83%. This place has 2 revolving doors and for good reason, people leave that place about as fast as other arrive. NO raises have been given to employees since the place opened 4 years ago. The only way you get a raise is if you are promoted and that is heavily dependent on who you are and how well you brown-nose. The same type of job, in Arkansas pays $22.00 per hour (as of 2011) Do what you have to do NOT to work for this company, you will be miserable and stuck. There is little chance of advancement and little chance of raises.
