      Pluspunten

      I get to choose to accept jobs at my kids' school and see them each day. I like the flexibility of deciding whether to accept assignments.

      Minpunten

      The pay rate is several dollars less per hour than it would be if I were an actual employee of the school, rather than going through the contracting company.

      The hours, the flexibility, and the ability to have vacations when my kids did.

      Minpunten

      There was sometimes confusion about who to report to. Building subs was a new position when I started, so they were still working things out. It has gotten much better

      Easy to pick up sub opportunities. If you make the best of building relationships with teachers and administration it is a great opportunity to network and find a long term role.

      Pay is not that great.
