Pluspunten

There are some snacks in the office and Keurig. Office parties for holidays. The marketing of the product is good and they (marketing) knows SaaS very well. Really only good thing is 100% paid insurance (no other benefits fyi).

Minpunten

During my employment, there was a lot of inappropriate behavior, language, and side comments among co-workers. It's definitely a man's company. If you are a woman, I suggest you consider and think about how thick your skin is. The running joke and saying in the company is that HR isn't here. Leadership isn't great and, from the outside, appears to not understand how to fix the software or how to relate to and care for people. It's like when you are remodeling your house and you notice the drywall needs to be replaced. You can either paint over it or replace it. In TeamSupport's case, they just continue to add more layers without fixing the issues of the software. When speaking with customers and potential customers, this was hard to shy away from. The CEO is also very difficult to work with and seems to not care about anything or anyone except to make money. I understand you have to make money as a business, but to treat employees the way he does, is unacceptable. If you do something wrong, he won't shy away from calling you out and cussing at you in front of the whole company... and good luck trying to defend yourself. It's no secret that building had an active shooter situation in 2017. Once we cleared the building, you can guess who the 1st person was to leave the property. There was no follow-up with employees, making sure everyone was okay, had a ride home (as our keys and laptops were left in the building), etc. This also was true when we came to the office Monday morning and there were bullet holes in our windows... but as a female if you feel unsafe, you can ask someone to walk you to your car. SMH They advertise that it's the best place to work in DFW. Just take a look at the reviews and the dates... how can a company be the best place to work with so little reviews, small company size, and an outdated software at best?

As a result of this anonymous review, we requested independent feedback from our female employees, and all were shocked and strongly disagreed. Not everyone is a fit for every company, and we certainly wish this individual the best in their future career.

Pluspunten

Joined recently and it's been awesome. Lots of investment in the product, great team and great leadership. Remote work is awesome and they get the team together once a month for lunch.

Minpunten

This is not a coasting job where you can hide during the day in the remote world.

Pluspunten

There are a lot of genuinely good people at TeamSupport who care about their work and about each other. Team collaboration is strong, and most employees are trying to do the right thing for customers. There’s no shortage of effort or commitment from the people doing the day-to-day work.

Minpunten

Unfortunately, the company is held back by its leadership. A co-founder still has significant decision-making power but lacks vision and strategic direction, muting the impressive product team. On top of that, the CEO has brought toxicity to the culture by openly insulting employees in meetings and even made inappropriate comments about employees’ weight. HR doesn’t appear to have the influence or the will needed to meaningfully address culture or people concerns, which leaves employees feeling like issues go unresolved. Without clearer strategy and stronger cultural consistency, it’s difficult for the company to fully capitalize on the talent it has. Join if you want to work diligently to make sure the CEO, and investors receive the maximum amount of return on their shares.
