Pluspunten

Minpunten
- A couple people in leadership with integral roles that helped set the culture at The Moth were run out of the org and their absence is apparent and unfortunate - Recent new hires in leadership don't understand The Moth and are forcing their corporate agendas in a way that does not support or look out for the overworked staff, they tried to offer massages to staff instead of real compensation - Minimal room for growth and they are inconsistent in how they handle promotions, some employees have to apply others are just promoted, some are told there's a hiring/promotion freeze then others are promoted during that freeze - Unprofessional directors of departments, averse to feedback and need to improve communication - Leadership is not at all transparent in their decision making - Micromanaging and favoritism is rampant everywhere - Very little autonomy or room for new ideas, they are set in their ways - Very white and slow to implement real diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives - A lot of unnecessary urgency and pressure around tasks and deadlines, some managers really overreact about small things and it is detrimental to team morale - Everyone is underpaid and overworked, employees didn't even receive a minimal cost of living adjustment in despite how expensive NYC is - They are determined and inflexible in their desire to require employees come to the office even when many teams travel often and produce shows after hours, true support for their employees and flexibility would go along way - So many personality hires
