Pluspunten
Co-Workers, play music, semi-relaxed environment, local business, customers are nice for the most part. Owners are nice people. Good vibe.
Minpunten
Thundercloud is a relic from a time when Austin was cool (1975) and as far as the company is concerned it is still 1975. Beat up old registers, no direct deposit, no perks, and a general sense of an outdated business model. Thundercloud is fine for younger people but not for anyone over 30. The owners will not give any one a raise past about 8.50 an hour and with the rising costs of Austin living, this is not enough. As a woman, there I don't feel there is an HR department I could go to if the I had a problem with an co-worker (I haven't) and I'm told the company never provided insurance until Pres. Obama made them. You get one week paid vacation and thats it. You don't even get to eat for free (like every other restaurant I've worked at) and allot of times no breaks.
