Pluspunten

Overall experience has been fairly good. Good ethos, values, inclusion. There could be things the company could improve on and after the take over from a big American company, changes may not be as progressive as worker rights are not as progressive in USA. We'll wait and see! Fully remote but which company isn't these days. Flexibility. Good salary but pay reviews only happen once a year. NZ Culture is welcoming, humble and empathetic.

Minpunten

Poor paid parental leave (only 2 weeks) Bare minimal paid leave (20 days, most companies have at least 23 days in the tech space) At times teams are underresouced leading to stress and long hours, which could be resolved by hiring more people. Long working hours (40+ hours) No paid lunch break :-/

- Original team I was in was a great opportunity - Got to help improve processes and launch some great work out - The training budget was a massive positive to my experience - Customer base is fun to work on and has a great response when reaching out to them

Minpunten

- Management and proces was messy and had some who were full of ego - Manager wanted to claim credit for the work I did - Next team I moved too wasn't open to new ideas and became unberable
