Pluspunten
My time at TNN has been great. Previous reviews from a couple years ago were pretty spot on, from the stories I've heard, but when I started last summer, none of those things existed anymore. Here are my list of pros:
- I came into this company about as green as you can get, but the folks who trained me have loads of patience, even more knowledge, and are happy to show you how to get things going.
- We use the best software in the industry, and use industry best practices. In addition to us using the best in the industry, we're only recommending the best to clients, and weeding out the ones who are cheap and complain about performance when they are only willing to pay for bottom of the barrel equipment and software.
- Our client list is slowly growing as there is now a dedicated marketing team and system in place.
- The people that work here are great. The company culture is about as far from toxic as I've ever seen. Everyone gets along really well and jokes with each other frequently.
- The management structure is pretty clear. No one is confused as to who they report to. When you do the right thing, management will have your back; if you do the wrong thing, be ready to face the consequences.
- For hourly employees, the work-life balance is fantastic. You work 8-5 Monday - Friday, with 7 paid holidays (although Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are not 2 of them). For salaried employees, it is a little more hectic, but not much complaining comes from them about it!
Minpunten
- You don't get much vacation time to start, and it takes quite a few more years than my previous job to get more each year.
- Pay is on the lower end of the industry average, but based on location (the High Desert), it's pretty good.
