Pluspunten
Standard flight benefits (when you can get a seat.) Fantastic crews to work with! Most of the employee group is pretty tight-knit and great to spend the long days working with. Leaving them was the toughest part of leaving the job.
Minpunten
While most of management did begin their careers working the front lines in aviation, they have completely lost touch with what doing the job is really like. Most of them last worked on-line before 9/11. They will nitpick and discipline over arbitrary rules that have no bearing on safety. However, when the employees report repeated problems with procedures, safety, and inconsistent rules it falls on deaf ears. Even to the point of multiple employees being injured by preventable maintenance that is ignored by management. The mechanics are aware, but their complaints fall on deaf ears too. Even though both groups of employees on the front lines are unionized, at least one of those unions doesn't do much more than take the money of the people they fail to represent.
