There are so many talented, supportive and genuinely great individuals across the business, and that makes a huge difference to the day-to-day experience. There’s a real sense that the company is trying to do the right thing by its people, even when navigating periods of change. Like any organisation going through transformation, that pace of change can sometimes create challenges or pressure points, and not everything always lands perfectly first time. But overall, it’s a business with good intent, strong values, and a lot of people who care deeply about what they do. I’ve worked in quite a few companies over the years, and it’s easy to think the grass might be greener somewhere else. But honestly, Travel Chapter is a decent place to work. It’s not perfect, and there are things that could be better but that’s the same anywhere. The big difference is the people. They’re genuinely kind, supportive and try to do the right thing (very different to other experiences I’ve had), and to be fair you can see things are improving which makes it feel like that’s moving in the right direction.
