This is a great first step into the federal employee business game as you get experience and work directly with federal employees.
Minpunten
The salary is not comparable to the amount of work required for this position. You will work long hours during busy seasons. You will get taken advantage of your labor if you let them. It’s unfortunate that contractor salary is about $30k less than federal counterparts, for the doing the same amount, if not more, work. There is great turnover of federal contractors for this very reason.
