Nepotism is truly valued here, and in fact, encouraged. If you have disdain for those that benefit career and monetary wise through nepotism, you probably shouldn't join Truework. In fact, a lot of our current team has been employed by this! With nepotism also comes huge favoritism and work immunity carried out by leadership to those lucky individuals that know how to game the system well enough as well. Culture wise, Truework preaches about empowering individuals with ownership, but in reality, a lot of the leadership enjoys micromanaging. If you hire people to do a job, you should probably entrust them with executing their respective responsibilities. Furthermore, if you don't enjoy toxic work environments where "collaboration" is met with fierce competition from your colleagues, then steer clear of Truework. Something about the talent that we've attracted has brought about a constant competition to look better amongst your colleagues to your manager, which is counterproductive to actually doing meaningful work for the company. If you're looking to develop your career, look elsewhere. You will be promised plenty of career growth because of the ever growing nature of the company, but that's really just bait for you to sign and join. Little to no upward mobility here, so don't bother if you're looking for a workplace that values loyalty. No real appreciation is shown to employees for doing good work, and is merely brushed off, because at the end of the day the environment at Truework is such that every employee is expendable. Upward and onward! Little to no diversity within the company. The company doesn't believe it's that urgent of a need, nor does leadership, as the consensus is that any efforts and work done for this initiative doesn't need to be proven or shown. You are to blindly trust that the cofounders (all of which are entitled/privileged) will really be invested in diversity.
