The salary is the same - no matter where you live, so that can be a plus if you live in a low income area. The travel is extreme, so you will rack up the frequent flyer miles, hotel points, and rental car credits.
Minpunten
If you don't negotiate an extremely competitive salary when you start with Tyler - don't rely on any type of reward based salary increase. 3% is the standard every year, no matter the performance evaluation. Also - they tend to restructure the bonus "incentive" plan every 3 years so that it's more and more difficult to reach the upper tiers. There is not an advantage to being more experienced, ALL consultants get the same plan, whether 3 months into the game, or 15 years into it. No rewards for longevity at this company.
