Pluspunten
Remote work. Flexible Schedule. Exploring your city for work.
Minpunten
You are a 10-99 employee so no benefits, no PTO, nothing a "regular job" would provide. You have to be okay with this even though they will tell you they will offer benefits next year - they've been saying this for YEARS.
Your role will probably change here after 3 months based on them letting people go. It's a constant rotation of people in and out. Red flag.
Like many who work here, everything was AMAZING at the beginning. I got along with my coworkers, had fun, worked so hard - then one day everything flipped. I felt the "leadership" didn't like me and were trying to push me out even though I was doing my work and I was giving it MY ALL, When I would ask if I was doing anything wrong or for areas of improvement based on the energy I was receiving from leadership, I was told no and I was doing amazing which confused me? This happens to everyone who is let go. One day they change their attitude and then 6 months later you're out of a job.
You work on Basecamp, no email so no paper trails.
No HR.
They have been known to cut peoples paychecks with only a few weeks notice or pay them up to 10 days late.
