Overall great experience at Usg, although I started with the company in a more seasoned role, I do believe it would be a great company to work for right out of college. I know that several employees have been here 30+ years and started right out of college. Good opportunity for growth and movement around the company if you’re able to do that.

Depending which division you work with or for there could be limitations of product availability. We find that sampling can be a major issue with this particular manufacturer, which can hinder architectural Wins. Very heavy salesforce interaction with micromanaging how much time you spend in salesforce. New implementation of commercial excellence starting in 2026 so we will see how this is a positive or a negative to the workflow this year. They tend to put managers in place with no valid experience. We find this to be difficult to work around when they put in place requirements they make no sense due to their lack of experience.
