Pluspunten
The relaxed environment. Casual dress. Plenty of snacks and fresh fruit in-stock at all times. Plenty of coffee, soda, water, juice, you name it. The company sponsors lunch for employees in the Cleveland office each Monday, and the menu always has lots of fun stuff to try. Cool people. Some employees are from oversees, so I've learned a lot about different cultures, which I think is great. Employees get to choose their machines. If you are offered a job and you tell them you prefer working on a macbook air, you will have a brand new macbook air waiting for you when you start. They don't cut corners with regards to providing employees the resources necessary to succeed. Everyone is laid back. You don't have to sit in a chair (you can opt for a giant exercise ball). They pay for your parking. I could go on for days.... In conclusion, UrbanCode has offered me an avenue to explore new things and be a part of something big.
Minpunten
With the current office environment being so wide-open, it can sometimes lead to distractions. But it always makes for an interesting work-day. The company's headquarters are moving to the Halle Building in a few months, where I hear the workspace is pretty snazzy.
