Pluspunten
Company does have very competitive wages, benefits, and perks. There is a lot of investment made on the development of employees, both at personal and professional level. The company is filled with wonderful people that are a joy to work with. Great place to work if you are a hard core Christian, have an open mind, and only say what management wants to hear.
Minpunten
Religious and hypocritical. There is a huge emphasis on feedback and being humble. Unfortunately, feedback is 95% negative and by humble they mean you cant disagree-even though you are encouraged to provide feedback up and down the chain- management will hold what you say against you. The goal setting process is ridiculous. They have a great person forecasting numbers, however they ignore him and have regions create their own forecasts, which then become unrealistic goals and sales team are held to them. A prayer is held before every company function, before you eat, and after the meetings are over. Managers are encouraged to read a book called "doing business God's way". The running joke in the industry is the VHA is a cult. Although the intentions for what they do are good and the people are genuinely good people, the impact the culture is having on the company leads to employees that feel left out if they don't drink the Kool-Aid.
