Minpunten

-Doesn’t value the workforce like the past, particularly the people who have the knowledge and have driven results for years -Too much deadwood and 20+ year bureaucrats or inexperienced new leaders from rotational programs in senior positions -Expecting more of people, yet not changing compensation enough to reflect that -Being pennywise / pound foolish with spending, particularly on tech, CEOs relentless push for expense reduction is concerning, and people don’t feel like they can challenge

While the role is rewarding, the workload can be demanding during peak periods, requiring strong time management skills. Processes are still evolving as the organization formalizes procedures, so adaptability is essential. Additionally, visibility into cross-department initiatives can be limited unless you proactively seek out opportunities to connect.

Awesome coworkers for young professionals. Paid licensing for a few months.

Minpunten

Micromanagement is out of control. Incompetent team leaders who are obsessed with power and metrics. Back to back calls, limited support, and nearly impossible effective communication between departments. Zero time to cultivate culture because you are taking calls every second of the day except for 30min/1hr lunch and two 15 minute breaks. You’re locked into your role for over a year (apprenticeship for around 60 days, then a year after promotion to associate) and your team leaders will not approve internal applications unless you are “eligible”.
