There are so many other really great opportunities in the insurance industry and its a great place to get your feet wet for a real career.

Minpunten

Pay cuts happen frequently. Prepare yourself for constant disappointment. Currently was hired by another really great company but I don't expect to ask for a recommendation from Velapoint.

We have not had any pay cuts for our agents. As with most insurance agent jobs this position very much is a commission based position. We do pay our agents a base pay rate as well which has not changed. But, we have definitely not cut anyone's pay. We have a lot of agents that have been here for several years and are very happy with their compensation. Like with any commission based job you get out what you put in. Thank you for your feedback.

Base pay for a sales job, Good culture and training, actual follow the values they preach - we don't defraud people like some agencies I've seen.
