Independent work. Diverse workload. Employee engagement programs. Vertical opportunities for women. Fairly amicable company culture. Covid was handled very well, employees were taken care of properly and almost everyone returned with their job in tact.

1. Awful managers who know less than those they oversee. 2. Boys club politics. 3. Store autonomy creates silos where customers fall victim to the culture of the staff, i.e. boys & girls club politics. 4. Commission structure is unfairly weighted and unequally distributed. 5. Acute abuse of federally allotted time off by time thieving employees left their work load shoveled onto the plates of employees who how up to work. 6. Inappropriate & conflicting relationships and behavior in stores jeopardize team morale, performance, and overall quality of the business. 7. Veteran managers are the epitome of advancement without merit. They use the system to obtain a seat from which they do nothing but collect checks, shuck & jive for executives & make ridiculous demands. 8. Unequal distribution of commission sales combined with outrageous goals set by the company will burn you out, and fast if you're not making it. 9. HR is not your friend! They are sent out monthly/quarterly to fish for liabilities threatening to expose the festering problems. Do not for the love of God, do not speak with HR in depth or at all if manageable. They are Verizon's hunting dogs disguised as labradors & your will be the hide they hang if you tango with them. 10. Lazy coworkers who steal time and drive business away are esteemed over hard workers. They compliment incompetent managers where the latter shine a light on the incompetence. 11. Cleaning staff are deplorable in the lacksidasical inept service they perform. Don't look to close at anything and try not to touch anything you don't have too. 12. Verizon fired so many teams and eliminated so many critical roles and immediately distributed the work left behind onto store staff. You will be doing the roles of 3 people for the pay of 1 unfairly compensated individual. 13. Pay is only marginally better than other audacious competitor's rates, yet still very FAR BELOW what the role of specilialists should be compensated. 14. Customer service is the bane of everyone's existence, second only to the 3rd party cousins everyone hates even more. Pains to employees and customers alike. Their greatest hit is passing the buck. 15. Predatory business practices are not a figment of your imagination, it is a thinly veild grift you must stop by voting your dollars else where. 16. The insurance for your non verizon at home devices is a revenue scammy scam. 17. Verizon's open door policy is a figure of speech. Spare yourself the theater and just leave. 18. Raises are an absolute 4.25% joke! The money they waste on stale pizza could fund annual bonuses! Nothing offended me more than that bleeping pizza. Food is not a proper reward, it is disrespect at it's most tone deaf. 19. Verizon sends it's store teams on fool's missions using 90's sales tactics forcing employees to humiliate themselves and annoy the public via cold calling & texting & voicemail. Consumers do the legwork to shield your phone number so no one working anywhere has to pimp out their dignity for executives holding 40 million dollar golden parachutes ever. 20. The biggest catch 22 is having phenomenal work rewarded with more work. From someone who did absolutely everything; Do less. MUCH less. 21. The consequence of using paid time off in full at Verizon is being penalized with a PIP.
