Upper management will put you down and attempt to humiliate you at every opportunity. Often twice: first when they decimate your suggestions, and then when they accept those anyway. Everything has to be done twice: no trust in staff's judgement whatsoever. Ludicrous amounts of overtime (mostly due to mismanagement), which generally remains unpaid. Nepotism (with people sitting at work doing literally nothing thanks to their ties to the upper management). Lack of a sustainable business strategy. Results in dozens of yearly new projects amounting to little more than knock-off versions of existing products. Constant crunch time. Shady firing practice.
