First, the holacracy approach. It's complete nonsense. But the owner thinks he's ahead of the curve, but he can't see three feet in front of him. Nepotism. Everyone is someone's spawn or old friends of the owner. Multimillionaire owner telling people that he doesn't believe in a culture of raises. Want a raise? Tough luck. Advisors have gone nearly a decade without one. Faux culture. Their "people person" claims to care about DEI, until asked to participate or assist. Then she doesn't want to get "political". Mass firings on a whim with no reason. Serious allegations of racism, sexism, and sexual harassment are dismissed. You are asked to wear a number of hats in different departments, and there's never a pay increase. Many of the older workers cannot keep up with technology. Proprietary technology is routinely failing. The customer service side of the company is treated with ill regard and do not enjoy the same benefits as the rest of the company. No salary bump for being multilingual in roles where it is needed.

Minpunten

Leadership is fundamentally broken. There is disagreement at the top for direction. Ultimate direction is decided by fiat without evidence of benefit to the company. Executive oversight does not hold the CEO to account for decisions. Communication from leadership is cagey secretive, and conspiratorial at the best of times, and at the worst of times, accusatory of expectations without setting clear goal, silent about direction and intent, or completely chaotic.
