* Toxic Work Environment. Public shamming and gaslighting in public work channels and zoom calls. It was so bad I just stopped posting in public channels, and started avoiding leadership after a while.
* Favoritism is obvious.
* No clear comunication of expectations even when you blatantly ask for them.
* Non consistent 1:1's and when you ask for one you get gaslit that you just recieved one a few week ago when it was more like a few months ago.
* Yes man culture with leadership.
* Constant context shifting and throwing out of work.
* So much of the software platform is built on airtable, and retool.
* Counting of merge request and commit history, as well as how many comments you both recieve on your MR's and leave on other people's MR's.
* "Build not buy" logic spreads the engineering team thin across large projects that would normally require significantly more engineers and time to build, which causes a lot of shortcuts to be made.
* Non-existent project planning/managment.
* Non-existent mentorship.
* I dont know if its a con, but it was a bit strange to see the CEO publicly criticize negative reviews from the employee happiness index, and also threaten current employees who wrote negative glassdoor reviews with retaliation if they didnt remove them.
* Constant revolving door of employees. Not uncommon to show up to work and find out people you worked with were randomly let go and put on garden leave out of the blue.
* No annual pay raises.
