Pluspunten
It was a great place to find true fulfillment. Not great pay at all. But for a part-time job, or a transitional job, or a "I don't really need the money I'm just bored" kind of job, it's an amazing place to develop truly interesting relationships with old people. It'd be an amazing job to have while at school. Also if you work in the kitchen there's probably a decent amount of leftover food you can take for your family. Full time gets great benefits.

Sometimes they die which can be sad, but it's an expected part of life and if you can extract your ego from the situation and realize that even dying people need friends too, it's not so bad when it happens. Work culture can be iffy, and management doesn't do the greatest job of designing a workflow that prevents drama. Don't make co-workers your focus. Just do your job, engage with the residents, and you'll enjoy it.
