Working at within Design was a great experience and always felt as part of a big family, being a media and design agency specialized in corporate communication Within Design is the right place to be if you're interested in high profile projects, dealing with clients involved in top management and marketing. During my time at Within Design as a videographer and video editor, I was part of a multicultural team that opened the doors for great collaboration, working shoulder to shoulder with the creative director (Will Hambling) helped to streamline projects and learn new creative approaches. I learned a lot about how business is done and how to deal with clients in various situations as well as how to handle fast-paced projects in order to meet deadlines. Being in charge of video projects my creative input was always valued and I was always welcomed to bring new ideas to the table. Having to travel for various jobs, I visited many places in the UK and abroad, embracing new cultures and dealing with professionals from around the globe. Within Design made me feel like part of a members-only club where I could participate at discussion boards and prove that my presence has value. After I left the agency, our relationship continued to thrive and often I was invited on special projects when the team needed help.

- Very corporate clients — This can be difficult as it tends to not be so ‘attractive and exciting’ for creatives but presents as more challenging and important briefs - A lot of ambiguity and projects might have to be turned around very quickly (might not be everyone’s cup of tea) - If someone is not quite cut out for it, it is very noticeable and that can result on people leaving once in a while.
