Benefits and Pay are good and I appreciate my team. I have good relationships with my clients and feel like I can be collaborative with them and also support them through the claims process.

That being said, workload and claim complexity increases. We have processes for processes and not enough time in a work day to provide the service we want or should provide. Turnover is high due to folks not being able to maintain the workload and pressure. When you don't keep up, workers and employers will be frustrated and regardless of your resiliency, it will break you down. It's frustrating that sometimes our workload is perceived by the public that we don't care, don't return calls, and are trying to make worker and/or employers lives harder. It is Richmond centric in terms of career growth. Although we serve the province, unless you move to Richmond, you are limited to either officer/admin work in the area offices. It is frustrating that I cannot grow into working in different departments and that we have smart people in our communities in BC that we cannot access.
