I've only worked at Worthwhile for a short period of time but I was first drawn in to apply to this company because the job description was written as if a human wrote it. Not to mention the title was listed as Talent & Culture Manager. Any title with the word culture means there is an emphasis on culture. Whereas most companies brag about culture but don't put any effort into cultivating culture. I have listened in on many conversations throughout the organization with people from all aspects of the business and there is one common thread - people first. Yes, it's a business and there are business goals (that keep people employed, by the way), but I have been a part of so many conversations about the people, how this will impact the people, have we spoken to the people, what was the feedback from the people. You get my drift? I found myself sitting in a meeting once and thinking, "I feel very safe here." The company is an emotionally safe place. No one is trying to invoke fear or control anyone. You are trusted. Lots of open communication. You can be yourself and are encouraged to bring your whole self to work. Remote work and no micromanagement. Lots of support from the team. They understand you have a life outside of work and are flexible when life-things happen.
Minpunten
There's not any that I can see so far. The leadership really takes responsibility for the areas of improvement. From my perspective, I hear a lot of conversation around work/life balance and ensuring we are staffed properly to not burn out our current staff. Employee satisfaction and retention are very important.
