Pluspunten
As flexible as you could possibly imagine. My job involves writing product descriptions for health products. Each description only pays $5, but you can write as much as you want in a day, and that number can really add up. 10 descriptions or more is often doable for me. Weekend work is also possible. Paydays are every Wednesday. There is a board of assignments each with a product to write about. I get to choose my assignments from this board. If I have second thoughts about writing about a certain product, I can put it back. Assignments are also automatically put back if not completed 24 hours after checking it out. Writers can communicate with editors in the unique system they have for writing the descriptions out. If I have a question my manager might have an answer to, we also communicate on Slack.
Minpunten
The hiring came abruptly. No contract or anything. I got an email from one of the managers out of the blue and told me I had 12 hours to join the Slack channel and write a test description or my writer status would be revoked. Editors seem like they are behind on reviewing assignments. I've written nearly 100 descriptions so far and only 4 have been looked at as far as I can see. This matters since we do not get paid if the descriptions don't clear the editing phase. The website can occasionally have glitches. Sometimes, pages will be missing, this happened especially during the first week when reading the FAQ and other sections were necessary.
