Leadership, as is the case in many startups, suffers from arrogance and lack of humility. Product is unnecessarily complicated and easily five years behind other mental health platforms. I have been here long enough to see the work culture shift from start-up mission to savior complex. Those that love to call themselves leaders and have meeting after meeting are more interested in power and accolades then impacting the world. Some of these "leaders" actually use words like "greasy" to describe their selfish actions, and others overcompensate by talking about impact when us low level staff know they mean promotion for themselves. The part that is hitting my limits is the toxic positivity of the new CEO and her exclusive group of yesmen. We get it, you think you can save everyone inside and outside the company from whatever you are too good or too rich to suffer from yourself. Please stop pretending that your positivity is all that others need to be better in work or life.
