One night, a few months after starting, I stayed late to finish up a project I didn't want to leave until morning. The storage room adjacent was being cleared out and remodeled, as we're expanding and desperately needed the extra space. The doorway to the next room was just an unfinished frame. Determining priorities is a constant battle. Lack of structure embraces creativity and innovation, but often feels like dangling over a cliff. Nose to the grindstone approach favors results, and organization takes a backseat---which occasionally affects productivity. Interdepartmental communication can be a struggle.
