The impact of its technology is life changing for the world and it's definitely the most meaningful development in cloud computing in the last decade where the technology is available through Github and the core technology is published in refereed journals and now being taught in universities so both the developer community and academics are using it to change our world for the better, The company culture is open, transparent, non-hierarchical with a dedicated team of passionate employees that act like a family and collaborate. You have the opportunity to work with world renown technologist and scientist in a modern workplace where inclusion and employee health is part of the DNA and not an after-thought.

None stood out during my time there.

Mimik has very high employee turnover, which was evident during my time there. It didn’t take long to realize that the leadership team lacked strong coaching skills and effective people management. The workload was intense, with frequent late nights and weekends, yet there was little appreciation or recognition for the effort. Over time, this environment negatively impacted my well-being and contributed to significant stress. Due to these conditions, my time at the company was relatively short. The CEO maintains an extremely controlling management style and expects full control over employees at all levels, leaving little room for trust, respect, or collaboration. This is a very small company, and unfortunately the culture reflects that. I also observed instances where the CEO spoke down to other senior leaders during external meetings, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Overall, I would recommend being cautious and doing thorough research before joining this company.
