I've been in People leadership long enough to know the difference between a company that talks about its values and one that actually uses them to make decisions. p44 is the latter, not perfectly, but genuinely. The AI investment here is real: we've put serious resources into training every team member on Claude and AI tools, and I've watched people across functions change how they work because of it. The leadership team is sharp, direct, and willing to be challenged. There's a high-ownership culture that attracts people who want to actually move things, not just manage process. And the market moment is real: supply chain visibility powered by AI is where the industry is going, and we're not chasing it, we're building it.

Minpunten

The pace and the ambiguity are features for some people and dealbreakers for others, and I don't think we're always honest enough about that upfront. This is a company that moves fast, changes direction when it needs to, and expects you to figure things out with incomplete information. If you need a lot of structure to do your best work, this may not be the right fit. We've also been through some difficult chapters over the last few years, headcount reductions that were necessary but painful, and rebuilding trust after those moments takes time and consistency. We're in a new phase now and the possibilities are endless.

project44 is really investing in AI in a way that actually makes your day-to-day better. You get access to new tools and systems that push you to think differently and work smarter. My manager has encouraged me to find classes and trainings that help me grow, not just for the role but for my career overall. The perks are nice. Free lunch, free parking, volunteer opportunities, and fun events like dumpling-making classes. The culture has improved a lot over the last year and leadership is in a better place. Also, as a parent, the flexibility here means a lot to me.

Minpunten

Turnover is a real challenge. When people leave, things fall through the cracks -- projects and processes they were managing just don't get handed off. It's not always obvious what someone was carrying until they're gone. However, turnover also leads to opportunities. Depends on how you view things.

AI education is a real investment here, and not just for your current role, but for the future - skills needed in the next 6-12 months anywhere in the industry or out. When you bring ideas to improve products or processes you feel heard and it actually goes somewhere. Leadership is transparent and communication feels genuine, you know where we stand. The compensation is highly competitive and reflective of the real value you bring to the company's growth, and the shared ownership benefits are not something you'll get at most companies! The culture backs it up, everyone takes part in successes, tons of social gatherings, in office perks and catered events. There's a consistent effort to make sure everyone across the company feels recognized, not just the people at the top.

Minpunten

Like a lot of tech companies, focus can shift quickly based on customer and market demands, it can be a lot at times, but speaking from experience it comes with the territory. Processes aren't always defined or consistently followed, but it's also an opportunity depending on your role (I personally love defining and driving these process improvements).
