The interview went well, the hiring manager and HR team were very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. It was more of a dialog and I didn't feel like it was nerve wracking. I was pleased with the interviewer's feedback and they did send me for the necessary checks and screening afterwards. However it was disappointing to be ghosted with an explanation of why I was not the best candidate for the position.
