I was contacted about 2 weeks after I submitted my resume and cover letter to schedule an initial chat with HR. Typical questions were asked and I moved on to the next round, a call with one of the owners in Jersey. He seemed put off at having to do the interview and told me that there wasn't currently an opening for the position I was interviewing. You can imagine my confusion about why I was in an interview for a position that was not open. I also wasn't given the opportunity to ask questions.
