Applied to the TA role at Chadwicks and received a quick call from the TA person to arrange an interview and nothing else. Spoke with two HR BPs and the interview was standard. Asked around difficult to fill roles, difficult hiring managers and ran through my background. After 45 minutes we are wrapping the call up and they ask by salary expectations. I tell them my current salary and they let me know the salary on offer is 15-20K below this. The call ended after this with them saying potential next steps would be speaking to the HR director. I received a missed call the next day from one of the HR BP and I called them back when i could but no answer. After 4 days I never received a call back and then I received a generic email saying thank you for interviewing. Honestly the process was very poor, the original TA person should have held a proper screening call to address the salary expectations before wasting an hour of my time interviewing for a role. Hopefully they hire someone who can fix this process.
