I was contacted through LinkedIn and invited to schedule an interview with a recruiter. The interview was standard: I talked about my background and personal goals. After that, I was asked to complete an unpaid take-home test to assess my skills in SQL and Tableau. I submitted it on time, but never received any kind of feedback or even a brief response to my follow-up emails. Overall, a completely unprofessional experience that shows a total lack of respect for candidates’ time and effort.

The take-home test was divided into two parts: the first involved writing basic SQL queries based on a list of tables. The second part required building a dashboard in Tableau using a provided .csv file, along with some presentation slides to explain the work (in a later call that never happened). That last step never happened, as they didn’t even bother to provide feedback or any kind of updates regarding the position.
