I applied for a job but never heard back. A few months later, a recruiter reached out about a position. It sounded interesting so I came in for an interview. When I showed up Recruiter asked if I would be interested in interviewing for another position on the same day. I said yes. First interview was 2 separate one on one interviews. Neither person had read my resume or asked relevent questions. Second set of interviews was similar- 2 rounds of one on one interviews. One person was pulled in to interview because the person who was supposed to be there ended up working from home. Same experience. As I was leaving, recruiter mentioned third job that would fit my experience exactly. Never heard back about first two jobs even after sending a follow-up email to thank them for their time. Third set of interviews- the day after the in-person interviews I had a phone interview, the next week I was asked to come into the office to meet with two people. The interview was over video conference. The last round was meeting with a senior person. I was offered the position but the job ended up being very different to the one that was described by the recruiter. Recruiter and boss also "forgot" when I was starting so nobody was here for my first two weeks. Very odd.

My interview was informal and lasted about five minutes.
